Lost My Editor

June 2, 2014 March 4, 2015 Michael Andre McPherson102 views

I’m finally finished the fourth draft of Heretics Fall, book three of the 1000 Souls, but I’ve hit a snag: my editor has changed jobs and is too busy to edit this novel, although he has kindly offered to do a free read through for substantive character/plot issues.

He used to work for a Canadian publishing house and moonlighted on novels like mine, and he’s been a great editor, but the new job is busy. I look forward to his comments as a beta reader, but I’m going to miss his sharp eye.

So, if you know a good freelance copy editor, I’m taking references.
